I Have a Blog?

I have been pretty lethargic the last couple of weeks. When my summer class ended, I thought I was excited about all the things I would accomplish with the free time. However, I have spent most of that free time contemplating my existence while curled up on the couch. Shameful, I know.

I feel like I am slowly coming back to life—seeing the RiffTrax Live presentation of Sharknado 2 last week may have helped (by the way, there's a third one on the way). For the past few days I have been exercising again, and I have read The Giver and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Yes, I am crushing an average fifth-grade summer reading list.

Now I hope to do a few things: come up with something more interesting than this to write, finish those Harry Potter books before my Kindle Unlimited trial runs out, and find my cat under the pile of clothing in my bedroom—err, not necessarily in that order. Truth be told, there is a novel-length list of things I ought to do, but I would also like to enjoy some of this rapidly-disappearing summer. Here's to moderate work ethic, maximum ice cream servings, and going out in the sun only to run screaming back indoors.
